A word about the waitinglist
As soon as all available seats at the event are filled up, the waiting list is activated. From that moment on, people can choose to be added to this waitinglist.
If an enrolled user cancels their subscription, the first person in the waiting list is NOT automatically enrolled to the event. The X-LAN crew will contact this person, and ask if they still want to attend the event. If so, they will be moved from the waitinglist to the actual attendance list, and the rest of the waitinglist will advance one place forward in the queue.
Consequently, it is possible that -during this consultation period-, the event might not seem fully booked (e.g. 89/90 seats taken), but this is temporary, because we are awaiting the response of the first person in the waitinglist queue.
If this person is no longer interested in attending the event, the crew will then contact the next person in the list.
Your position in the waiting list depends on the moment in time that you enrolled on the waiting list. We act on a first-come, first-served basis.
